The 47th Rugby Primestock Society Show and Sale

I was delighted to once again take some photos for the RFM Ltd – The Midlands Mart team on Monday, this time at the 47th Rugby Primestock Society Christmas Show & Sale. The current restrictions and thick fog made it challenging at times but there was still plenty of enthusiasm from all involved. Photography was also challenging hence the reduced number of images, plus I also had to dodge the odd unruly beast!

The images below are low resolution, high resolution digital images and prints are available to purchase, please call David on 07715 575605 or email davidseverywhere@outlook.com.

The cafe was open for takeaway only, although we did light the fire pit in the car park to try and provide some respite from the cold (the temperature hovered around freezing all day), we also dished out some complimentary mulled wine. Thank you to everyone who supported us by visiting for a takeaway, it is very much appreciated.

The trophies were presented in the ring although I’d like to apologise to Josh Geary for the lack of a decent trophy presentation shot. His beast managed to knock the cup out of the judges hands (I just managed to catch it on camera) so the prudent decision was made not to try another shot!

The Christmas cake (pictured below) which was auctioned for charity was made by Cindy this year, and Emma remarked how heavy it was when she was showing it in the ring. That’s quite possibly due to the amount of sloe gin that the cake has been fed during the past six weeks! A winning bid of ¬£350 secured the cake for Woody, Cindy thinks he will enjoy it!
