AGA man spots penguins on the course but Chaddesley Corbett beats the frost to serve up a pointing treat

So, it’s 6.30 on Monday morning and we’re discussing the scene outside (it’s minus 5), and words such as ‘Arctic’, ‘penguins’ and ‘freezing’ are being used. Mrs S says “it won’t be on”, I’m adamant that it will be on. Fast forward a few hours and the near tropical Worcestershire sunshine has worked its magic… it was never in doubt!

The frost was still thick on the ground but these early arrivals were in good spirits as they studied form.

Well done Chaddesley, we had yet another brilliant day on a point-to-point course, oh, and we were home before it was dark – just!
