We’ve had a cracking week and the team have been feeling very festive (particularly Kim and Missy – see below), plus, I’ve not been whining as much about the shite on the radio! Anyway, I’ll keep the words to a minimum as I really want to use this post to share some photos from a great schooling session which took place last Thursday.

Kim and Miss Macarno – aka ‘ChristMissy’.
The eight (Roysta’s Spirit, Vedettariat, Total Compliance, Bilzic, De Pilgram, King’s Walden, Celtic Silver, Roberto Pegasus) that are entered at Chaddesley and Cottenham schooled in ideal conditions on a beautiful summer morning and both trainer and champ were bouncing afterwards. The horses are in great nick so let’s go racing!

Two of our Chaddesley runners, Vedettariat (far side) with the champ on board and Roysta’s Spirit under Kate Gowing, both worked well.

Jack Andrews on Nicnacpaddywac (a 4-y-o Golan gelding) – there was a nice article about Jack in the Racing Post on Friday, written by Carl Evans.

A quick changeover and a briefing from trainer.

Gina on Bilzic – he could run in a Maiden at Chaddesley or Cottenham.

Kate on Total Compliance (Toby), he will carry a penalty at Chaddesley.

De Pilgram

King’s Walden

King’s Walden is Cottenham bound.

The champ was debating whether to keep the tinsel on for Chaddesley!

Roberto Pegasus (Robert).

Robert enjoyed his afternoon with the Warwickshire hounds last week.

Tim – our Flemensfirth gelding.

Charlie and Bugsy – she loves him!
To top the week off nicely we had our new jackets delivered – they’re very eye catching and the team love them! They’re embroidered with the logo of our lovely sponsor, Luxe 22, look out for them at Chaddesley and Cottenham!

See you at Chaddesley – you won’t miss us!
